Who Am I?

After teaching internationally (2 years in Mexico, 2 in Kuwait), I decided to take the travel part of my job and make it my life. I wander one country to the next, planning each day as it comes, meeting amazing people, learning about cultures, and trying new things (one day I’ll work up the nerve to try a bug).

I’m not your typical backpacker. My bag is small, my style is crunchy. I am a nerd for minimalism and love paring down my possessions. I’m also continuously trying new things to move away from using and consuming modern products like shampoo and packaged foods.

It’s still fairly new to me – this kind of life – but it’s a challenge and an adventure. I’m thrilled to be on it, and I’m glad to have you along for the ride!

Please let me know how I can write for you, my lovely reader:

    • Hi Sabrina,
I’m so glad you enjoy my blog, and I do hope you will become less quiet. πŸ˜‰
I want to thank you for nominating me! It feels so wonderful to know that you enjoy my blog enough to present me with such an award. I have decided I will not participate in the procedure, for various reasons. Nonetheless, I am very grateful! Thank you!!
